After the roof has been primed, inspect and seal all seams, flashings and penetrations. Reinforce the coatings along joints and wear areas with 6″ wide polyester fabric. This allows the coating to withstand greater amounts of stress. Some roofs with alligatoring may require a fully reinforced coating system. This is done by laying 40″ wide polyester fabric on the roof and saturating it with roof coatings. A fully reinforced coating system is very durable and long lasting.
